As a Technical Advisor,
You will be responsible for greeting customers, gathering information, reviewing each customer's maintenance history before filling out the repair order. Indicate the main reasons for the service call. Verify the extent of warranty coverage on the vehicle to be repaired before starting work and inform the customer. Ensure that the parts needed for the work are available in inventory. Communicate with customers and the mechanical team to confirm the nature of the mechanical problem(s) and answer their questions. Provide estimates for labor and parts. Contact the customer to obtain approval for the work order. Follow up on work in progress. Explain the details of mechanical problems and repair recommendations to reassure customers about the work being done. Notify customers immediately if additional work is required. When the work is complete, sign and close the work order. Inform the customer that the vehicle is ready for pickup. Confirm each customer's payment method and, if necessary, obtain credit approval. Ensure the quality of after-sales service. Keep up to date with recommended maintenance programs. As well as any other related tasks.
